Similar to last year – and because the children enjoyed it so much – we once again arranged a trip to the De Hoop Nature Reserve in March 2017 where thirty children between the ages of 12 and 15 years spent the weekend with us at De Hoop Nature Reserve.
To qualify and have their name on the entry list they had to bring 200 points. We arrived at the camp on Friday night, settled in and enjoyed dinner cooked by our kitchen staff, Elizabeth and Shirley. They did a wonderful job and made us all happy with their delicious food.
Discover and learn
De Hoop embraces 36,000 hectares of land and an additional 5 kilometers of marine reserve, which makes it one of the largest nature reserves in South Africa.
Besides a lot of fun – being at the beach or hiking through unspoiled nature – it was also an educational weekend for us all.
What a privilege to spend a weekend in this paradise!
