Charity Night 2016
Everyone at Lucky Point desired to thank our friends for their generosity, trust and support of our project since its inception.
Christmas Bash
With great excitement the line began to grow longer. More and more children chattered to one another waiting for the doors to open for our Christmas party.
A Day at the Beach
We normally take the kids for a day at the beach just before the new school year in the Western Cape starts in the middle of January.
New France after-school care reopening
In line with the beginning of the new school year in South Africa, our after-school care at New France also reopened in January.
A day out with Crèche children
Before the December summer holidays, we took 20 of our youngest Crèche kids to an exciting playground designed especially for younger children.
De Hoop Nature Reserve weekend
Similar to last year – and because the children enjoyed it so much – we once again took 30 children on a trip to the De Hoop Nature Reserve in March 2017.
Swiss containers with clothing, gifts and goods
Two containers – both packed with clothing, gifts and goods donated by our friends – arrived from Switzerland. Their generosity is absolutely amazing!
Visit by Ambassador of Switzerland
The Ambassador of Switzerland Ms Helene Budliger Artieda, together with her husband, were keen to learn all about the Lucky Point Recycling concept and all our other projects we run in Botrivier.
Update on the Lucky Point Youth Centre and Recycling
Although the bureaucracy frustrations may mount, it does not deter us from achieving our final goal and we will continue to overcome the red tape.
Lucky Point Foundation Review 2015/2016
It was both an exciting but also intense year for Lucky Point. We grew stronger and our influence amongst the community continues to grow.
