The Point Shop
Botrivier kids, teens and adults collect waste to earn reward points that can be converted into clothes, food, toiletries, bicycles, sports goods and more.
Two cultures and two languages come together here in the clean and safe playroom where they play together and have fun learning each other’s language at the same time.
We can take up to 20 children between the ages of 6 month and 6 years and help to prepare them for Kindergarten/Pre-primary school and also for school at the age of 7 years.
We need at least 100 pairs of gumboots to help keep the feet of the children dry during the winters in the Western Cape, which is wet and muddy (100ZAR = 7CHF each).
We need warm blankets for the young children and babies at the crèche as well as for the older children who come for after-school care (ca. 60ZAR = 4CHF each).
Soccer boots are thé dream for most of the boys in Botivier who loves to play soccer. We need about 30 pairs of football shoes for the boys (ca. 700ZAR = 48CHF each).
