Lucky Point in Botrivier – approximately 100km from Cape Town, South Africa – strive to create better opportunities for children by teaching them to care for their living environment, providing a safe area to play and learn in and, of course, teaching a good work ethic.
Recycling in Botrivier
The recycling program highlights the positive influence of recycling on health and safety of all inhabitants, the environment and, of course, teaches a good work ethic.
The Point Shop
Botrivier kids, teens and adults collect waste to earn reward points that can be converted into clothes, food, toiletries, bicycles, sports goods and more.
Two cultures and two languages come together here in the clean and safe playroom where they play together and have fun learning each other’s language at the same time.
We can take up to 20 children between the ages of 6 month and 6 years and help to prepare them for Kindergarten/Pre-primary school and also for school at the age of 7 years.

Our first recycling day in 2019 was very busy with people storing all the recycling goods at their home for 3 weeks.
A generous donation enabled us to convert the porch of the Lucky Point Crèche into an additional playroom – perfect for Botrivier's wet winter weather.
Our annual Beach day was attended by 120 kids and luckily we had lots of helpers who helped make this a great day for all – big and small.
